Improving vascular services report
A public consultation was held earlier this year regarding the proposal to create a single centre for inpatient vascular surgery in Kent and Medway, bringing together the inpatient services at Kent and Canterbury and Medway Maritime hospitals.
Both Healthwatch Kent and Healthwatch Medway scrutinised this process, with their findings being included in the Decision Making Business Case. Earlier this month the proposal was endorsed by the Kent and Medway Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (JHOSC).
