Each January multiple awareness raising campaigns are running, some focused on specific weeks or days.

Healthwatch wants to offer information and signposting to organisations that help with these issues and resources produced and generated by other organisations.

The Accessible Information Standard - What you can expect from services

A year ago the Accessible Information Standard came into force. It requires any organisation providing NHS or social care to communicate in a way that everybody can understand. Here's a reminder of what you should expect.
The standard aims to make sure that people who have a disability, impairment or sensory loss are communicated with in a way that meets their needs.
