Testing sites for people with no Covid symptoms
Five testing sites across Medway are offering free Covid tests to people working in key professions who don't have any Covid symptoms.
People eligible for a test include:
- Police & firemen
- Health professionals including GPs, dentists, opticians, pharmacists
- Hospital and community health workers
- Teachers including child minders
- Carers
- Council staff & public service workers
- Public transport drivers
- Delivery drivers and removal workers
- Supermarket staff
- Estate agents
- Vets
- People who provide key face to face voluntary services such as Foodbanks & victim support

There are five test sites across Medway:
- Chattenden Community Centre, Swinton Avenue, Chattenden, Rochester, ME3 8PH
- The Student Hub (The Deep End), North Chatham Maritime, Chatham, ME4 4AG
- The Oast House, Granary Close, Rainham, ME8 7SG. There is no parking at this site but there is a pay and display car park nearby on Station Road. And if you have limited mobility, you may prefer to use an alternative centre.
- Rochester Cathedral, Garth House, The Precinct, Rochester, ME1 1SX.
- Medway Park, Mill Road, Gillingham, ME7 1HF. You will need to pay for parking on site.
