Everyone can now get a Covid test in Medway
Testing is now available for all us living and working in Medway if you don't have any Covid symptoms. One in three of us will have Covid with no symptoms so it's really important to get tested regularly to reduce the spread of the virus
Up until now, testing has only been available for people from key professions such as teachers, police and healthcare workers. Now, with more slots available, testing has been opened up for everyone.
Booking is on a first come, first served basis and is recommended for anyone who is leaving the house for work, to go shopping, for exercise or for medical reasons.
We are being encouraged to get regular tests, every two weeks if possible.

There are five test sites across Medway:
- Chattenden Community Centre, Swinton Avenue, Chattenden, Rochester, ME3 8PH
- The Student Hub (The Deep End), North Chatham Maritime, Chatham, ME4 4AG
- The Oast House, Granary Close, Rainham, ME8 7SG. There is no parking at this site but there is a pay and display car park nearby on Station Road. And if you have limited mobility, you may prefer to use an alternative centre.
- Rochester Cathedral, Garth House, The Precinct, Rochester, ME1 1SX.
- Medway Park, Mill Road, Gillingham, ME7 1HF. You will need to pay for parking on site.
