How to keep active in Medway

Looking for ways to keep fit and stay active? Not sure what is available in your area?
This is a resource pack for Medway residents, including information about local groups and advice on how to stay healthy.

Over July, Healthwatch Medway are running a project looking at falls prevention. As part of this, we will be out and about in Medway and will be engaging with the public around ways of keeping fit and preventing frailty. In this resource there are two links to information provided by Medway Public Health.

On the Explore Kent website you can find a range of local groups near you, from cycling festivals to Nordic themed walks, there's something for everyone! They also have information on local open spaces near you, so you can find your next dog walking route or simply just somewhere you would like to explore.

The Everyday Active website has handily sorted local groups by area, so it couldn't be simpler to find a local group near you. They even have recommended classes, and a new 'pick of the week' activity every week! Not only do they have local groups listed on their website, but they post advice and information on how to keep fit and healthy.
